Baseball Season Is In Full Swing

We kicked off Clay's baseball season with a tournament in Cookeville, Tennessee this past weekend.  There were teams from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia.  We finished in third place with a heart-breaking one run loss in the semi-finals.  The boys had a blast playing ball, swimming and running around the hotel.  We have another tournament this weekend in Northern Kentucky - we'll keep you posted!

Girls Only

For Claire's 5th birthday, we decided to have a "girls only" party.

We had a wonderful brunch complete with quiche, scones, muffins, baked brie and fruit.  We were blessed to have Claire's great-grandmother, 2 grandmothers, 2 great-aunts, 3 aunts and tons of cousins join us for the celebration.  The girls dressed up in frilly dresses, tiaras and even gloves!  We painted flower pots and planted seeds. Everyone had a wonderful time!

Caden's Naughty In His Sleep!

Caden occaisionally puts up a fuss at naptime even though he loses the argument every time.  This time in particular he said over and over, "I'm not tired, Mom!".  

He looked so precious, I had to take a picture!  He doesn't look tired to me!

Because he got out of bed twice, I went in and put him back in the bed and said, "Caden, you stay in the bed and don't let your feet touch the floor!".  

So this is how he fell asleep! His toe is as close to the floor as it can be without touching!! Stinker!
